Deleting processes and process versions

In the Processes view, you can delete processes and process version that you no longer require. Because all processes and process versions are visible to others who use the LiveCycle ES server, you should exercise caution before you delete a process or process version. Otherwise, the following situations may occur:

Any processes that use the process version as a subprocess will no longer function.
Any process instances of a deleted process or process version will stall.
Note: Avoid deleting processes that were imported as an archive file because it will not remove any associated assets automatically. To remove a process and all of its assets, remove the archive file using Archive Administration from within LiveCycle Administration Console. Caution: You can delete processes that are locked if you are assigned the Application Administrator or Process Administrator role. It is recommended that you consult with the developer who locked the process version to ensure that you can safely delete the process or process version.

To delete a process or process version:

In the Processes view, right-click the process or process version, and select Delete.
If a message appears prompting you to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
