You can modify existing settings on both the Render Service or Submit Service to change how the preprocessing and post-processing works when available. You can also modify the service that is used by the Render Service and Submit Service.
The Render Service performs preprocessing to the supplied form before it is displayed to a user. The Submit Service performs post-processing, which retrieves and handles the form after a user is finished with it. Depending on the variable type, a default Render Service or Submit Service may be provided. The following table summarizes the provided Render Service and Submit Service for each data type.

Based on the data type you use, you can modify the input data as necessary to configure the default Render Service.
You can modify the Render and Submit Service to use custom processes that you create. If you define your own custom processes for the xfaForm, Form, or Document Form type to use, you must specify an output of type document.
To display HTML forms or form guides to a user, custom processes must be created for both the Render Service and the Submit Service.
