| Creating Your First LiveCycle ES Application > Configuring a Service > Configuring your service to be used from Workspace ES | |||
When you create an endpoint, it is visually represented as a process card within Workspace ES. When that process card is selected in Workspace ES, the form design you created will be used to present a form to the user.
Now, you will create and configure an endpoint to specify how your service will be invoked. You will also configure permissions so that any validated user who can access Workspace ES can invoke your service. Finally, you will save the changes to your service. Your service cannot be invoked unless an endpoint has been both configured and enabled.
To configure an endpoint to be initiated from Workspace ES:Note: Ensure that you click MortgageLoan: 1.0, which represents the process you activated as a service, not the installed sample called MortgageLoan-Prebuilt:1.0 link.
The following illustration shows the TaskManager endpoint selected in the list before you click Add.
Mortgage Application.Form used for starting a mortgage application..Complete the application and one of our representatives will contact you within two business days..Note: If Status is not Enabled, select the option left of Mortgage Application, and click Enable.
You have configured a Task Manager endpoint for the process, which allows the process to be invoked from Workspace ES.
To specify permissions to invoke your service:Note: You can also select the All Principals option, which allows all users that have access to Workspace ES to start a process. In production systems, it is recommended that you do not select this option.
You have configured your service so that everyone who can access Workspace ES can invoke the service.
