Changing the position of fields on your form design

Next, you will position the fields on your form design so that the form design is more visually appealing.

To change the position of fields on your form design:

  1. In the Hierarchy palette, select Mortgage and, in the Layout palette, type 3.498in in the Y box, and then press the Enter key.
  2. Repeat step 1 using PhoneNumber but, in the Y box, type 4.998in.
  3. On the form design, select the Mortgage field, hold down the Control key and select the Term field, and then select Layout > Align > Left.
  4. On the form design, select the Phone Number field, hold down the Control key and select the SSN field, and then select Layout > Align > Left.
  5. In the Hierarchy palette, select DownPayment, hold down the Control key and select InterestRate and FirstName.
  6. In the Layout palette, in the X box, type 4in, and then press the Enter key.
  7. In the Hierarchy palette, select Declined.
  8. In the Layout palette, in the X box, type 6.0in and, in the Y box, type 7.5in, and then press the Enter key.
  9. Save the form design.

You have changed the positions of some of the fields in your form design.
