Next, you add headings to your form design. The headings are form labels used to separate groups of fields that a form filler may fill.
To add headings to your form design:
In the Object Library palette, in the Standard category, drag the Text object
onto the form design and position it below the first set of instructions.
Double-click the text in the text object and, in the Forms toolbar, perform the following tasks:
In the Font list, select Arial.
In the Size list, select 12.
Click Bold.
With the text still selected, type Step 1: Mortgage Information:.
In the Hierarchy palette, right-click Text1, select Rename object, type Step1, and then press the Enter key.
With Step1 still selected, in the Layout palette, perform the following tasks:
In the X box, use the default value of 0.5in.
In the Y box, type 2.5in.
Select Edit > Duplicate. A copy of Step 1: Mortgage Information: appears slightly below the original copy in the form design.
In the Hierarchy palette, right-click Step1[1], select Rename Object, type Step2, and then press the Enter key.
With Step2 still selected, in the Layout palette, perform the following tasks:
In the X box, use the default value of 0.5in.
In the Y box, type 4in.
On your form design, select the Step1: Mortgage Information: text, and then type Step 2: Applicant Information:.
