| Creating Your First LiveCycle ES Application > Creating a Form Design | |||
In this section, you will learn how to create and test a form design for a mortgage application. You will learn how to do the following tasks in the order shown:
You need a form to start the process for handling mortgage applications. The form design is typically completed by a form author or form designer. Applicants will fill the form electronically using Workspace ES, and a loan officer or bank manager will approve the mortgage application using Workspace ES.
You can create a mortgage application form by using form objects, which represent text boxes, check boxes, images, and numeric fields. If you have defined the fields in an XML schema data file, you can drag the elements onto the form. The appropriate form objects are created based on the XSD type defined in the XML schema file.
For more information about creating form designs, see "Working with Form Designs" and "Working with Objects" in LiveCycle Designer ES Help.
