Deleting policies using the web service API

To delete a policy using the web service API, perform the following tasks:

1.	Include project files

•	Create a Microsoft .NET client assembly that consumes the Rights Management WSDL. For information, see Creating a .NET client assembly.

•	Reference the Microsoft .NET client assembly. For information, see Referencing the .NET client assembly.

2.	Create a Rights Management Client API object

Using the Microsoft .NET client assembly, create a RightsManagementServiceService object by invoking its default constructor.

3.	Delete the policy

Delete a policy by invoking the RightsManagementServiceService object’s deletePolicy method and passing the following values:

•	A string value that specifies the policy set name to which the policy belongs.

•	A string value that specifies the name of the policy to delete.
