Odd and even pages
For some page property and page content elements, you can specify different values for even and odd pages within a given scope. You do this by specifying the element twice and setting the alternation attribute to OddPages for one and EvenPages for the other.
The default value for alternation is None, which means that there is no difference between odd and even pages and therefore the element can only appear once in a given scope.
The alternation attribute applies only to the following elements:
Page properties: PageMargins, ArtBox, TrimBox, and BleedBox
Page content: Footer, NoFooters, Header, NoHeaders, Watermark, NoWatermarks, Background, NoBackgrounds
