renderPDFForm

Renders a PDF file or XDP file to a client device and generates a PDF transformation.

In Designer ES, a special form object must be added to the form design before it can be rendered as a PDF form for Workspace ES. (See Using LiveCycle Designer ES > Creating Forms for LiveCycle Process Management ES in the LiveCycle Designer ES Help.)

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to render a document object which contains the complete pdf. I would like to render dynamically a pdf document by passing a document object from a process to a subprocess.

Maybe there is a solution to render pdfs by passing an document object?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Hi there,

I need to understand your process a bit more... When you are rendering your document object, was it a PDF created in Designer ES? If not, you cannot use the render operations that are described here.

If you are trying to render a PDF form created in Designer so that you can submit in Workspace, you may want to consider adding the Process Fields to your form, which is a custom object in Designer ES. You might need to do this in the form design.

Another source of information you might want to try referencing is Techniques for Configuring Applications for LiveCycle Workspace ES. (See http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_lc_configworkspaceapps_82)
