Designing human-centric processes

Human-centric processes involve one or more users in a business process. To participate in processes, users fill forms and submit them to the LiveCycle ES server:

The services and tools that LiveCycle Process Management ES provides let you create human-centric processes, and let users participate in them:

The following steps summarize how to involve users in processes:

  1. Create variables to store form data and identify the forms to use. (See Configuring variables for form data.)
  2. Use the User service to assign tasks to users. (See Involving users in the process.)
  3. Specify how the task can be used in Workspace ES. (See Configuring task functionality.)

After form data is stored in variables, you can access or manipulate the data as required. (See The data model and XML forms.)
