Opening the LiveCycle Form Design perspective

The LiveCycle Form Design perspective in Workbench ES is a collection of default views for creating form designs. This collection of views is associated with form design (XDP) and PDF files; therefore, opening an XDP or PDF file automatically starts Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES. As you become more familiar with Workbench ES, you may want to open views that the LiveCycle Form Design perspective does not contain. (See About the user interface.)

You need access to the following views and editors in the LiveCycle Form Design perspective to create a form design:

LiveCycle Designer ES: A point-and-click graphical form design tool.

Resources: A hierarchical display of all the content in the repository. Provides access to the folders that contain form designs, images, fragments, schema, WSDL, XML, and SWF files.

Properties: Displays the metadata associated with the file selected in the Resources view.

You can switch between the LiveCycle Form Design perspective and other perspectives while you work. Double-click the LiveCycle Form Design editor tab to expand LiveCycle Designer ES in Workbench ES.
