Importing your application

You use Applications and Services page to import an application into another environment. Applications and Services page is accessed by logging in to LiveCycle Administration Console. The user profile that you use must be assigned either the Application Administrator or Super Administrator role.

To log in to LiveCycle Administration Console:

  1. In the URL line of a web browser, type http://[server]:[port]/adminui:

    and press Enter.

    For example, on the computer where you installed LiveCycle ES by using the turnkey method, in the URL line of the web browser, type http://localhost:8080/adminui and press Enter.

    The Administration login prompt appears.

  2. In the User ID box, type kvarsen and, in the Password box, type password, and then click Login.

    Note:   If you or your administrator have assigned a different user profile to access LiveCycle Administration Console, type your assigned user ID and password.

You have logged in to LiveCycle Administration Console.

To import your archive file:

  1. On the LiveCycle Administration Console home page, click Services > Applications and Services > Archive Management > Import.
  2. On the Archive Import page, click Browse. The Choose File dialog box appears.
  3. Browse to the location where the MortgageLoanAppEx.lca file was saved, select the file, and click Open.
  4. On the Archive Import page, click Preview.
  5. On the Mortgage Loan Application Preview page, verify the list of resources and objects, and then click Import.
  6. On the Import Results page, verify that resources were imported, and click Skip Configuration to finish the import process.
  7. Click Logout.

You have imported your application as an archive file into another environment. You are now ready to configure your service.
