Modifying your swimlanes

You can rename swimlanes to better describe their purpose. You can also change their size and color.

To rename the swimlanes in your pool:

1. In the process diagram, click SWIMLANE0.
2. In the Properties view, in the General category, type the following information:
   • In the Label box, type LOW RISK to replace SWIMLANE0.
   • In the Height box, type 250.
   • In the Description box, type Fin@nce Corp. representatives who approve loans that are low risk..

   Note:   You can also modify the height of a swimlane by dragging the lower border up or down.

3. Select SWIMLANE1 in the process diagram.
4. In Properties view, in the General category, type the following information:
   • In the Label box, type HIGH RISK to replace SWIMLANE1.
   • Click the ellipses button beside Color and, in the Color palette, select the color red and then click OK.
   • In the Height box, type 250.
   • In the Description box, type Fin@nce Corp. representatives who approve loans that are high risk..
5. Save your process version.

You have modified the names, height, and colors of the swimlanes in your pool. Your process diagram should look like the following illustration.
