Editing captions in your form design

You may notice that the captions for the fields that you added to your form design from a schema are already predefined. Because most schema files are created based on a table in a database, not all the names may be suitable for the person filling your form.

You will now edit some of the captions. Editing captions does not affect the binding names.

To modify the caption of a field:

1. In the Hierarchy palette, select Term.
2. In the Object palette, click the Field tab and, in the Caption box, type Term (Years).
3. Save the form design.

You have modified a caption in your form design.
