Adding a logo to your form design

Next, you will add a corporate logo to your form design to indicate that the form belongs to your organization. Adding an image to a form design is a two-step process. First, you add an Image object and then you configure the object to specify the image file.

Tip:   You can press the Tab key to move between fields in any palette.

To add a logo to your form design:

  1. In the Object Library palette, click the Standard category and drag the Image object  anywhere onto the form design.
  2. If the Hierarchy palette is not visible, select Palettes > Hierarchy.
  3. In the Hierarchy palette, right-click Image1, select Rename Object, type Logo, and press Enter.
  4. In the Object palette, beside the URL box, click Browse  . The Browse For Image File dialog box appears.
  5. Select LiveCycle ES Server > Images > financeCorpLogo.jpg and click OK.
  6. In the Object palette, select Embed Image Data.
  7. Select Palettes > Layout. The Layout palette appears near the lower-right corner.
  8. In the Layout palette, perform the following tasks to resize and position the logo on the form design:

    Note:   The unit that is used for measurement does not need to be typed if you set inches as the default unit of measurement.

You have added a logo to your form design.
