Stepping through this tutorial

To successfully complete this tutorial, you must complete each of the sections in the order they appear. It is assumed that you will be using a single LiveCycle ES environment where the LiveCycle ES server and LiveCycle Workbench ES are installed. It is recommended that you read the Audience, Requirements, and Before you begin sections before you begin this tutorial.

The following sections describe the main parts of the tutorial and the estimated time they will take to complete:

  1. Setting Up Your LiveCycle Workbench ES Environment (15 minutes)
  2. (Optional) Creating a Form Design (50 minutes)
  3. Creating a Process (45 minutes)
  4. (Optional) Exporting and Importing a LiveCycle ES Application (15 minutes)
  5. Configuring a Service (15 minutes)
  6. Testing a Service Using LiveCycle Workspace ES (15 minutes)

    Note:   You must follow the tasks described in Exporting and Importing a LiveCycle ES Application only if you are using a separate LiveCycle ES environment for testing. You cannot import your application into the same environment where you created it.
