Document assembly elements represent PDF documents or pages within PDF documents. The following elements are in this category.
Identifies the parent element, PDF result or PDF source, as being a PDF package. A <PackageFiles> element can either add new package files or select package files for modification. The result of specifying NoPackage is to assemble a PDF package into a single PDF. The package files in the package are not included, but the package specification remains and the parent element remains a PDF package. Determines the order in which the viewer should display the fields of a PDF package. Defines the characteristics of the metadata (Field) attributes associated with each package file. Determines the order of the package files when assembling into a single PDF, as well as the priority the viewer should apply to the fields when sorting. Describe the fields and their attributes, including the type of data and the name used to identify the field in a PDF package. PDF result PDF source Specifies one or more PDF documents to be used in constructing the result PDF document. Specifies a grouping of source documents to which page properties, page content, and document components can be applied.
