Web server clustering

Web server clustering is accomplished through ClusterCATS. ClusterCATS is a Macromedia clustering technology that provides software-based load-balancing and failover services that ensure high availability for web servers and the web applications that use those web servers. The following figure shows the relationship between the servers:
