This section describes how to configure JRun to communicate with a Zeus web server running on UNIX. For more information about advanced web server connection techniques, see JRun Administrator's Guide.
Use the following procedure for connecting JRun to a Zeus web server (UNIX only).
For details, see "Running the Web Server Configuration tool".
The name of the Zeus server is https-xxxx. For example, the web server config directory might be /usr/local/zeus/ns-config/https-xxxx/config.
JRun connects to the web server.
Note: This step assumes that Zeus is listening for connections on the default port 80. If not, use http://web-server-hostname:webserver-port-number.
The default page for the web server to which you connected appears, showing that you successfully configured the connection between JRun and your external web server.
You can remove the web server configuration in one of two ways:
Select the Zeus web server configuration, and click Remove.
java -jar jrun_root/lib/wsconfig.jar -ws zeus -dir zeus_root/ns-config/https-xxxx/config -r
(The name of the Zeus server is https-xxxx.)
