Connecting JRun to External Web Servers

This chapter describes how to connect JRun to an external web server using the Web Server Configuration tool, a stand-alone tool that does not require JRun on the web server host. For instructions on configuring JRun with your specific web server, see the appropriate section.

You do not require a separate web server to develop applications using JRun. JRun provides its own web server that is configured when you install JRun. If you are not connecting JRun as a plug-in to an external web server, you can skip this chapter.
