Create Your First Application

This lesson shows you how to compile and run a simple Flex application with Adobe Flex Builder. This lesson also introduces you to the concept of Flex Builder projects and shows you how to create projects. In Flex Builder, all Flex applications are contained within projects.

In this tutorial, you'll complete the following tasks:

Create the Lessons project
Learn about compiling in Flex Builder
Create and run an application

You can't scroll through the help text describing the process while the "New Flex Project" wizard is displaying a modal form.

Hi,

That may be a restriction in Eclipse - I'll look into it.

One option though to configure the help to open in a browser window, rather than in the default help window. That is how I run FB. TO set it up:

1. Select Window >Preferences
2. Click the Help entry on the left
3. Select 'Use external browser'

You can optionally click the 'Web Browser' link to select the browser to use.
