see the Read Me file on the installation disc.I am contemplating on buying Premier Pro CS3. I also need to buy a new PC that will work well with the program. THe info I get from your website says this is what I need:
Intel® Pentium® 4, (1.4GHz processor for DV; 3.4GHz processor for HDV), Intel Centrino®, Intel Xeon® (dual 2.8GHz processors for HD), Intel Core™ Duo (or compatible) processor; SSE2-enabled processor required for AMD systems.
This does not tell me if a PC with an Intel Quad Core processor like Q6600 will work well with this and what memery I will need. Can you please give me the info so I can buy the correct PC?
Also, is the Pro CS3 program able to handle HDADV formats put out by Sony HD camcorder units with Hard Drives?
Thanks.

When it comes to CPU support, make certain that the CPU supports the SSE2 instruction set. Any Intel CPU chipset that is Pentium 4 class or better (the Quad core definitely falls within this range) will support SSE2. Also, any AMD processor made within the last two years will also support SSE2.No screen name said on Apr 24, 2008 at 9:52 AM :
Good afternoon from Madrid, Spain;
I have to install Premiere CS3 it Marinates in a new Pc and I ignore if I can use a graphic card MATROX model RT2500 and if it is compatible with the CS3.
I have checked the compatibility with Windows XP SP2 and the software works correctly, but I don't locate for any means information about the compatibility of the graphic card with the specified software of Adobe.
Could they respond me to this doubt?
