Photomerge appears to "see" file types that it will not work with. I have created HDR images and saved as .exr and .hdr files and tried to use Photomerge to blend them into a panorama. Photomerge shows those files but will not work with them. Is Photomerge supposed to work with these greater bit-depth files or not? If not then it seems that they should not be shown in the photomerge file selection window.

I used Automate:Photomerge on Friday with success.

When I tried to use it again on Saturday with a new set of images, the
Photomerge dialogue wouldn't list the image names, instead I would get
'tmp000000001" and no OK button.

I then tried to see if it would work with some of the images it had successfully
merged the day before. Same thing. tmp00000....
I then tried with older images and the images on the Adobe Website in the
tutorial. With these it still worked.

Usually I Photomerge with jpegs. On Saturday I first experienced the
problem when I tried to Photomerge with Nikon Raw files .NEF. I thought,
maybe it won't work with RAW, so I tried it with jpegs as I always had except
for this once. Same thing.... tmp0000....

Thinking perhaps it was a camera file problem I cropped some images in
photoshop, saved them and tried that. No luck. I renamed the files. No luck.

Same problem when I go through Script---> Load Files into a Stack.
I've shut down PS 10.0.1, restarted my computer, etc, etc.... no change.
