Customizing keyboard shortcuts

Use the Keyboard Shortcut Editor to create your own shortcut keys, including keyboard shortcuts for code snippets. You can also remove shortcuts, edit existing shortcuts, and select a predetermined set of shortcuts in the Keyboard Shortcut Editor.

Note: Charts showing all the keyboard shortcuts in the default Dreamweaver configuration are available on the Macromedia website at www.macromedia.com/go/dreamweaver_mx_shortcuts.

To customize keyboard shortcuts:

  1. Select Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts (Windows) or Dreamweaver > Keyboard Shortcuts (Macintosh).

The Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box appears.

  2. Add, delete, or edit keyboard shortcuts.

For more information, see Setting the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box options.

  3. Click OK.
