Creating a site: workflow overview
The order of lessons in this guide follows one possible workflow for creating a site. When creating your own sites, you can follow whatever workflow is most comfortable for you.
To create a website:
Plan and prepare, including setting up a Dreamweaver site (see Define a Dreamweaver site ).
Create pages, adjust their layout, and add content (see Tutorial: Creating a Static Page ).
Edit the code as needed (see Tutorial: Editing Code ).
Link pages together (see Tutorial: Linking and Previewing Pages ).
Preview and publish your site (see Preview pages in a browser and Define a remote folder ).
(Optional) Add dynamic pages that display information from databases (see Understanding Web Applications and Tutorial: Developing a Web Application ).
