Viewing the sample site

The examples used in this guide are drawn from a small sample site for a fictional company called Trio Motors. Before beginning the tutorials, view the sample site in a browser to get an idea of what you'll be creating as you work through the tutorials.

I purchased Dreamweaver MX 2004 today. As I am reading through the manual, I come across instructions for Viewing the Sample Site. These instructions are very misleading.
How do you "Open the Samples folder in the Dreamweaver application folder"? What does this mean?
I would like to be able to view the Trio Motors same site...

I have the same issue, I would like to be able to view the Sample Site but have been unable to it's been very frustrating as I've tried everything to see where this Getting Started folder is located without success.
I have been unable to use the software. I previously switched from Frontpage and I'm trying to update my website but have been unable to. any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Dreamweaver application folder is the folder where Dreamweaver was installed on your system. In Windows, this is typically C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\Samples. On the Mac, open the Finder and navigate to the following folder: Applications: Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004: Samples.
