I tried to uninstall ColdFusion, and the wizard tells me I need ColdFusionMX.msi file. This file does not exixt on my hard drives, and reinstalling ColdFusion MX results in the same error. Please help. Immediately if not sooner :)

I originally installed CFMX6.1 as a JRUN version on W2K Server with a full licensed Enterprise Edition disk. What I found was that a 3rd party product I need to work with the JVM would not work under the JRUN format. So I uninstalled using the control panel then deleted the JRUN directory and rebooted my server. I then installed CFMX 6.1 as a new install as a stand alone server under IIS5 on the same machine. I don't get the configuration wizard the CFDOCS and server cannot be found. I have tried a few iterations of this and it still does not work, I have tried the MANUAL uninstall also. It is not like my first time doing this, very frustrating.

I keep waiting for this program to not have bugs but that may never happen. I installed the developer edition on IIS but it would not work so fine I decide to uninstall and install it using the built in web server but it refuses to uninstall. Every time I go to reinstall I only have the Jrun install option. Yes I will search the knowledge base as usual but as usual things are always harder than they should be with this server.

Uninstalling CFMX6.1 from windows 2003 just hangs during the preparation stage. after manual uninstall reinstall does not complete - I had to reinstall my OS to get relief - this is unacceptable. I love this product when it works. I have also had recurring problems with updating databases from cfgrid input with cfupdate and cronic issues with cfmail.
