Installing Macromedia
ColdFusion MX for J2EE on
Java Platforms

ColdFusion MX is a J2EE application that is designed to run on application servers that are compatible with the Sun Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition 1.3. For a list of products that Sun Microsystems has confirmed as compatible, see http://java.sun.com/j2ee/compatibility.html.

Before you can use ColdFusion MX on a J2EE server, you must do the following steps:

  1. Install the ColdFusion files.
  2. Deploy the ColdFusion J2EE application.
  3. Configure ColdFusion in the startup wizard.
  4. Enable specific functionality required by ColdFusion applications.
