Chapter 9 Differences Between the ColdFusion MX Server and ColdFusion MX for J2EE Application Servers
This chapter describes the differences between Macromedia ColdFusion MX Server and Macromedia ColdFusion MX for J2EE Application Servers.
This chapter uses the following conventions:
cf_root refers to the directory to which ColdFusion is deployed. For more information on the location of the cf_root directory, see "Location of ColdFusion MX root directory".
websphere_root refers to the directory in which IBM WebSphere Application Server is installed; for example, C:\Program Files\WebSphere in Windows, and /opt/WebSphere on UNIX.
sunone_root refers to the directory in which Sun ONE is installed; for example, C:\iPlanet in Windows, and /usr/iplanet or /home/iplanet on UNIX.
jrun_root refers to the directory in which Macromedia JRun is installed; for example, C:\JRun4 in Windows, and /opt/jrun4 on UNIX.
weblogic_root refers to the directory in BEA WebLogic is installed; for example, C:\bea in Windows, /usr/local/bea on Solaris, or /root/bea on Linux.
