Uninstalling ColdFusion MX 6.1 from UNIX

Uninstalling ColdFusion MX 6.1 deletes all program files and related components from your computer.

To uninstall ColdFusion MX 6.1 from UNIX:

1. Log in as root.
2. Enter the following command to go to the cf_root/uninstall directory:

   cd cf_root/uninstall
   

3. Enter the following command:

   ./uninstall.sh
   

4. When the program completes, remove any remaining files and directories in the cf_root directory.

ColdFusion MX 6.1 is deleted from your server.

It'd be better if you talk more about the new bundled JRun4 installation and configuration. It's because I found lots of difficulty.....there.

step number 3 should be:

./uninstall

and not ./uninstall.sh

This derectory does not exist on the mac os x installation of ColdFusion. Does one just dump the whole folder and get on with life or what?

This page is for the Server configuration of ColdFusion MX.
On OS X you install ColdFusion using the J2EE configuration.
