I'm uploading via a PHP script.

This file does some image processing: it takes the file and resizes it, converts it to a jpg, and reduces its file size. it all works fine when I call this script from an html form. However, If I do it from my flash file, through the file upload, It just puts the files on the desired location but doesn't do any transformation.

This is the expected behaviour for the PHP script when it thinks the uploaded file is not an image.

So somewhere along the flash upload the files that the php script receives are not recognized as graphic files. What can I do so that php 'understand' them as the right format, and so performs the desired transformations on them?

Thanks so much for any hints.
