You are quite correct. That last bullet should say:
To play around the current time, from two seconds before the current-time indicator to two seconds after the current-time indicator, Alt-click (Windows) or Option-click (Mac OS) the Play In To Out button. Pressing Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) changes the button to the Play Around button.

Alt-clicking the Play In To Out button, changes it to the Play Around button instead Play Edit button. It plays 2 seconds before and 2 seconds after the current time, I can not find a place to set a Preroll/Postroll or Handles setting after capture. You can only set a Preroll setting (not Postroll) for the amount of film you want captureAt the point the clip is captured in the Capture panel as well as set Handles (which is the same thing)., I don't believe there is any part of a clip that is tagged with a Preroll or Postroll/or handles setting for any clip or sequence to refer to.

Good catch, thanks. Those bullet points should instead read:

To advance one frame, hold down the K key and press the L key.

To retreat one frame, hold down the K key and press the J key.

To play forward in slow motion, press Shift+L. For most media types, the clip plays in slow motion, from .1 to .2 times.

To play backward in slow motion, press Shift+J. For most media types, the clip plays backward in slow motion, from .1 to .2 times.

Holding down the shift key with L (or J) and hitting it repeated does not slow the CTI down as stated in the document. Holding down the K key and hit L (or J) repeated does work.
