name needs to be able to pass the name attribute of . CFHTTP (no odbc, no xml) is the only method I have to integrate with some legacy systems, and some of the existing handlers require the name attribute of . It's still in the w3c standard, so why wasn't it included in this tag???

If you're having a problem getting an unexpected "Connection Failure" response when using cfhttp, check out this URL:

http://www.talkingtree.com/blog/index.cfm?mode=day&day=28&month=07&year=2004

Macromedia--you guys really need to get this up in a TechNote on your site. If it is there, my apologies, but I did look and didn't see anything.

Ack! urlencoded is ignored for all but 2 types of transactions? Why? Isn't there some way to change this. You _must_ be able to tell CF _not_ to encode cookie values, particulraly when secure sites your communicating against run check-sum values against the cookie to make sure they haven't been altered!
