My suggestion is to use try-catch handling (<CFTRY> and <CFCATCH>) to trap error conditions in order to handle them programmatically.

I gleaned this information from the following page: http://wbt.sys-con.com/read/40815.htm
HTH

I'm using CFMX to generate WML. The only component that doesn't seem to want to conform is <cferror> The default (or customized) CF error screen renders in HTML which will crash on a hand held device. I can't customize the page to conform to WML protocols <cfcontent> because no processing tags are allowed... any suggestions?

TYPO: "pound sings" appears twice. Should be "pound signs" in the first table in "Creating an Error Application Page".
