BlazeDS Developer Guide

BlazeDS architecture

A BlazeDS application consists of a client application running in a web browser or Adobe AIR and a J2EE web application on the server that the client application communicates with. The client application can be a Flex application or it can be a combination of Flex, HTML, and JavaScript. When you use JavaScript, communication with the BlazeDS server is accomplished using the JavaScript proxy objects provided in the Ajax Client Library. For information about the Ajax Client Library, see The Ajax client library.
