Calculation window

In the Calculation window, enter the statements, calculations, expressions, functions, and scripts that you want Authorware to execute. You can also add comments to the Calculation window.

If the calculation icon is attached to another icon, the title bar of the Calculation window shows the other icon's title. You can change the look of the text in the window by selecting the Font and Size commands from the Text menu.

If you're typing a long line in the Calculation window and you want to break it to make it easier to read, place a continuation character at the end of the first part of the line. For example:

Score Data:=JudgedResponses^Return^¬
JudgedInteractions

To create a continuation character, press Alt-Enter.

After you enter or change information in a Calculation window, Authorware prompts you to save your changes when you close the window or run the piece. There are two shortcuts that bypass the Save dialog box:

To close the window and save changes, press the Enter key.
To close the window and cancel changes, press the Esc key.
