When Authorware goes from one framework to another, it applies the settings in a framework's entry and exit panes to all nested frameworks (for example, when a map icon with a framework is inside another framework icon).
When Authorware encounters a navigate icon that jumps out of one framework to a different framework, it first executes the information in the exit pane of the current framework. It then goes to the destination framework and executes its entry pane.
Authorware provides the following three variables that you can use in the entry or exit pane to identify whether Authorware is navigating to or from a page in the framework.
Navigating indicates whether a jump or call is under way.
NavTo indicates which page is the destination of a call or jump.
NavFrom indicates which page initiated a call or jump.
