Setting up branching based on a variable or expression

You can also set up branching based on a variable or expression.

To set up branching based on a variable or expression:

1. Drag a decision icon to the flowline and name it.
2. Double-click the decision icon.
3. Select To Calculated Path as the Branching setting.
4. In the field below To Calculated Path, type the variable or expression you want to use to determine the path.
5. Select the other options you want to use, and click OK.
6. Set up the decision paths.
