When you set up an object so a user can move it anywhere, it's possible for the user to move it not just anywhere on the screen but also off the screen. To prevent a user from losing an object, it's a good idea to set up boundaries that limit where an object can be moved.
You can also set up boundaries to restrict an object to a certain area of the screen. For example, you might limit objects representing checkers pieces to the area that represents the checkerboard.
To set boundaries for a movable object:
Select the display icon that contains the object.
Select Modify > Icon > Properties, then click the Layout tab in the dialog box.
Limit the object to an area:
Select In Area as the Positioning setting.
Select In Area as the Movable setting.
Define the boundaries of the area:
Click the Base button, then drag the object to the spot that marks the upper left corner of the boundary area.
Click the End button, then drag the object to the spot that marks the lower right corner of the boundary area.
Click the Initial button, then drag the object to its initial position in the Presentation window and click OK.
