Importing a graphic

To import a graphic element into Authorware:

1. Select File > Import.

   You can embed or link a graphic into an icon by first opening a display or interaction icon. See Selecting an icon for graphics.

   You can drag a graphics file to the Presentation window, the flowline, or a library. When you drag a file to the Presentation window, Authorware adds the graphic to the icon that's currently open. When you drag a file to the flowline or a library, Authorware creates a new display icon. Dragging a file to an icon adds the graphics to that icon.

2. Select a file from the list.

   Select the Link to File check box to keep the file external instead of copying it into Authorware.

   Select the Show Preview check box to see the file's contents before importing it.

3. Click Import.
4. Select Modify > Image > Properties.
