You can add external media to an Authorware piece by enabling the Link to File check box in the Import dialog box. Or Shift-drag a file onto the Authorware flowline, the Presentation window, or a library.
Holding down the Shift key while dragging a file makes a link symbol appear in the lower right corner of the cursor, indicating that the content will be linked externally.
