When you integrate a Director movie with an Authorware piece, the Director movie behaves just as if it were a stand-alone file. You can play digital movies in Authorware when cued by the flowline, when a variable reaches some value, or when the user takes a specific action. You can also specify the playing of a selected sequence of frames. An option called Interactivity enables the user to interact with the movie; it also enables the Director movie's Lingo code to function when the movie plays within Authorware.
To play a Director 6.5 or earlier movie, import the movie into a digital movie icon. To import a Director 7 or later movie, use the Shockwave ActiveX control.
