Letting users control QuickTime movies

A QuickTime movie playing on its own can include a controller that lets the user start, stop, or seek a frame. You can specify whether this controller is available to the user in Authorware.

To provide a standard QuickTime controller for a QuickTime movie within Authorware:

  1. Select a digital movie icon with a QuickTime movie.
  2. Select Modify > Icon > Properties.
  3. Click the Timing tab in the dialog box.

  4. Select Under User Control from the Play pop-up menu.
